By placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by this agreement.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected or processed in connection with https://www.qprototype.com, as well as the services offered by Qprototype and any verbal, email, text, or other electronic communications between you, our Website, and/or Qprototype personnel.
In this Policy, we outline our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information when you visit our Website or use our services. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, any terms that start with a capital letter will have the same meaning as defined in our General Terms of Sale. All additional terms, guidelines, and rules, including our General Terms of Sale and Terms of Use, are incorporated by reference into this Privacy Policy.
2. Order cancellation
Qprototype produces custom-made products. Each item is produced based on the customer’s provided design files, such as 3D CAD files and drawing files. Once we start production, we cannot cancel orders. Once we receive your order, we will plan production within 24 hours. If you have to cancel it, email us within the next 24 hours after placing the order. If you inform us after 24 hours, we may be unable to cancel the order.
If you are not in New Zealand and have placed an order, we will cancel it and process a refund. In this case, we may not send you a cancellation email. Customers outside New Zealand should contact us at info@qprototype.com before placing an order.
If we do not have material listed or there are delays in getting material, we will inform you about the estimated lead time. If you are unhappy with the updated lead time, you can ask for order cancellation, and we will proceed with order cancellation with a full refund.
3. Copy right and Ownership (Website content)
Some of the images, vectors, and videos used for the website are from licensed sources. We have uploaded some of the actual part images from our display gallery. We don’t upload your ordered parts to our website without your consent.
4. Inaccuracies, Omissions and Error
It is important to note that there may occasionally be details on our website or within the Service/Resources that contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. These discrepancies may pertain to various aspects, such as product/material descriptions, pricing details, shipping charges, and product availability.
We explicitly reserve the right to correct any such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notification. This means that if any information in the Service or on affiliated websites is found to be inaccurate, we may update or modify it, or even cancel orders based on these discrepancies—even after an order has already been submitted.
Furthermore, we do not undertake any obligation to proactively update, amend, or clarify the information provided in the Service or on any related websites unless mandated by law. It’s essential to understand that the absence of a designated update or refresh date within the Service or on affiliated websites should not be interpreted as an indication that all information has been thoroughly reviewed or recently modified. Users should exercise caution and always verify critical details before proceeding with any transactions.
5. Shipping
We are currently shipping only within New Zealand. If you are an international customer, please email us at info@qprototype.com; we may be able to assist. Please do not place an order if you are outside of New Zealand. When you place an order within New Zealand price includes New Zealand Goods and Services Tax.
Our quote page is designed to calculate all the costs. Once you fill out the form, you will see all pricing and can process for payment. You will see the shipping cost once you fill out your delivery addresses and contact details.
We currently have two lead times: 2-4 weeks and 5-6 weeks. This does not mean that parts will be delivered. If you would like us to make your part in 5-10 days, please get in touch with us before placing an order. Customers understand that the delivery dates provided by QPrototype are only estimates. QPrototype will not be held liable for any failure to deliver by these dates. However, QPrototype will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the products you ordered are shipped and delivered on time. Once we hand over your package to the courier agent/partner, your package will delivered within 3-5 days in North Island and 5-8 days in South Island. Add an extra 3-5 days if delivery is in the ruler area. Several factors beyond the control of QPrototype could affect your delivery time, such as the delivery location, especially if it’s a rural address, which might require additional travel time. Furthermore, the size and weight of your package can also influence shipping speeds, as larger or heavier items may be subject to different handling procedures or transport logistics.
QPrototype is unable to accommodate requests for special shipping instructions to be provided to your local courier driver. This limitation includes but is not restricted to, specific requests for exact delivery times or highly detailed guidance regarding the exact location for delivery. For optimal service, please ensure that your delivery address is clear and complete at the time of order.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided in the web form is correct and complete. Any additional transportation costs resulting from incorrect address details will be charged to the customer.
QPrototype cannot be held responsible for any delay, loss, or damage to products during transportation. However, we urge you to immediately contact our customer service team at info@qprortotype.com if you encounter any issues. Our dedicated staff is available to assist you and can guide you through the appropriate procedures to address your concerns effectively. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are here to help resolve any problems as quickly as possible.
6. Order Termination due to incorrect inputs
Our system-generated quote may not be accurate in some cases. If the generating system crashes (crash error will not be visible on our website) or does not calculate as it is supposed to, we have the right to cancel that order. If we cancel the order, we will notify you, and the money will be refunded to the same card/account.

7. Changes to policy
Qprototype has the right to change or update this refund policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
